Beautiful Country but Many Struggle
NNicaragua is a breathtaking land filled with some of the most warm-hearted, resilient people you will ever meet. But beneath the beauty of its volcanic landscapes and coastal towns lies a quiet, crushing daily struggle. Far away from the tourist centers, thousands of families wake up trying to survive, with a staggering portion of the rural population attempting to get by on just a dollar or two a day.
Mothers stare at empty cupboards, children go to sleep with a hollow stomach, and local pastors try to shepherd a flock with almost nothing in their hands.
We don't just want people to hear that God cares about their suffering; we want them to see it through hands that serve, tables set with food, and hearts that refuse to look away. When we step into their world, we aren't just filling a physical need. We are standing shoulder to shoulder with brothers and sisters in Nicaragua, doing unto others as we would want if our positions were reversed.
01 · Evangelism
The Gospel Goes to Nicaragua
Evangelism is at the heart of our work. We support ministry efforts that take the message of Jesus beyond the walls of a church building and into the wider community. We have sponsored city-wide crusades in Managua, sharing the good news of Jesus and bringing many to salvation in Christ.
02 · Supporting Ministry
Encouraging the Churches
We help support ministers and local ministry efforts in Nicaragua so that the work does not depend only on what can be raised locally.
Our goal is to support and equip local Nicaraguan leadership to take the gospel to Nicaraguans. When local ministers can continue serving, teaching, visiting, organizing outreach, and caring for people, the impact reaches far beyond one event.
03 · Food Assistance
Meeting Practical Needs
There are times when ministry begins with something as basic as food. We provide assistance to families and local church communities facing real material needs, helping put food and other necessities into the hands of people who need them.
This kind of assistance is not separate from Christian ministry. It is one way we can love our neighbors in a tangible way. We believe the gospel should be spoken, but we also believe compassion should be visible.
04 · Feeding Children
A Meal Can Mean More Than a Meal
Some of the most moving photographs from Nicaragua are photographs of children. We support efforts to provide meals for children because hunger can make everything else harder—learning, growing, concentrating, and simply getting through the day.
But the purpose goes beyond filling a plate. We want children to know that they are seen, valued, and loved. The people serving these meals are not simply distributing food; they are building relationships and creating places where children can experience the love of Jesus Christ.
05 · Christian Education
Investing in Children Through Education
We also support a Christian school in Nicaragua. Education can open doors that poverty can otherwise keep closed, giving children knowledge, skills, structure, and a foundation for a better future.
For us, Christian education is about more than academics. It is an opportunity to help children grow in character and faith while giving them the tools they need to build their lives.
More Than a Program
People, Not Projects
We are not simply funding activities from a distance. We are investing in people and supporting those who are already doing the work on the ground. Sometimes that means helping a minister continue serving. Sometimes it means putting food into a family's hands, providing a meal for a child, paying for something as ordinary as a sink at a school, or standing alongside a Christian educator. These may seem like small things individually, but they are tangible ways of saying, you matter to God, and you matter to us.
