Mission & Outreach
Jacksonville Church of God (Seventh Day) supports the Assembly of Yahweh Christian ministry in Andhra Pradesh, India, led by Brother Tony Suckla. Our support helps provide Christian ministry, education, transportation, and practical assistance to people in the region.
A Ministry We Support
Our church provides financial support to the Assembly of Yahweh Christian ministry in southern India. The work includes a school, local Sabbath ministry, assistance for families and brethren, construction projects, and help for Myanmar refugees living in northeast India.
Designated donations to support the work are needed and appreciated.
Missionary Tony Suckla leads the work we support in India. He does missionary work in India, Nepal, and the Philippines. His home base is in Kambotlapalem, Gumparru Post, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh 534266, India.
Education
Christian education is a significant part of the ministry's work. A.Y.E.M. High School is located in Kambotlapalem in Andhra Pradesh. In 2025, school expenses, including teachers, books, electricity, cleaning, transportation, security, and student assistance was $39,359.
Myanmar Refugee Students
The ministry also supports Myanmar families who have left Myanmar as war refugees and are living in northeast India. The ministry supports 25 people, including 14 school-age children.
These children are not able to attend Indian government schools because they are not citizens of India. They rely on donor support to pay their school fees at the ministry's school.
Our support helps make private-school education possible for children whose refugee status prevents them from attending government schools.
Beyond the Classroom
The work extends beyond the school. The ministry runs a local Christian church, provides charity for the poor, and helps to meet medical needs of the congregation and children.
A new school transportation vehicle was purchased recently to help serve the school community.
Current projects include a Bible Translation project house, a new kitchen room, a school front gate, a bus-ramp gate, and a road to a prayer hall.
The ministry provides assistance for Indian brethren with medical expenses and help for college students and pastors.
